Thanks for the welcome! I'm a bit unsure as to which is the best section I should post my technical queries to as although it is predominately Cortina IV(?) based it obviously shares some mechanical bits with capris etc. Any pointers would be useful.

Hi All For those of you a bit perplexed by the name 'Carisma Century', it is a Cortina (4 or 5 I think) based kit car from the early 90's. Looks a bit like a Jaguar SS100. Mine has a 2.0 Pinto with type 9 gearbox. Suspension and steering is all cortina too. I have a blog at http://www.carismacentury.blogspot.com.
