Well i went shopping today as i leave everything to the last minute! What should i buy "her in doors" i thought?? Last year it was a sit on lawn mower!!! Well i mite be able to explain alittle better than Al...... Al organised with Posse for my RS2000 to go on the OLD SKOOL FORD stand at the classic for show but Al was then approached by Simon from Classic Ford mag who asked if we could put the car on their stand as it had been in the mag! Al agreed and i got the name TURNCOAT! The moral of the story is that you dont even have to say a word and you get the title TURNCOAT!! I actually like that name now!!

The mens National Autograss Championships will be held on the weekend 4th and 5th August 2012 at Thornborough,Bedale,North Yorkshire,DL8 2RE. If you want to see some serious car racing then get yourself there!! There will be 10 classes of Autograss cars with 40 cars in each class battling it out for the 8 car finals on sunday! You will see TWIN motorbike engined cars pulling power wheelies up the straights and touching 80mph plus side on in to the corners!! Camping all weekend with beer tent and live band etc on saturday nite! I will be racing in class 3 with a 2.0 vauxhall XE in a toyota starlet!! I was told about a classic ford that as been in sumones garage for over 20 years so i decided to go and have a look today! Well i was hoping it was going to be a Ford Escort of some description but it turned out to be a 1966 (C reg) Ford Zodiac in blue with 80,000 miles on the clock and one owner on the old style logbook! The owner started his own DIY restoration around 20 years ago but did not get the time to finish! He took out the straight six cylinder engine and lights etc and started to do some cosmetic welding etc but came to a decision that he had taken on to much so that is where the car as stayed for over 20 years!! Over the years he as bought some new parts for the car! Well the time as come to part with her so someone can restore her! The owner as asked me to find her a new home! I would welcome any input as to how much you think it would be worth as i personaly do not have a clue!!

The car is so nice that i got my other son who is 9 stone to sit in it when it came out of the trailer! I am 14 stone and did not want my weight on the drivers seat! So as to taking her sideways i don't think so!!

Once again thank you for all your support and kind comments! As to taking the car down the drag strip......NO CHANCE!!
