hi lads, hope your all good.just replaced a very worn steering column and box ,problem is the nut has worn,cant use car without it,cant get to work without car.i can make new one at work,can anyone tell me what thread it is please it would save me a bit of grief if you could .

thanks for the welcome lads,nice to know i aint alone out here.just got hold of a bestech electroic ign set up,any good? they cost about 300 quid so i hope i notice a diference.any sugestions for a fuel additive or doser[is that a word]just read some bad reports on fuel cat so might give that one a miss.cheers tony

couldntfind much else about at the time, drove to essex the week before to look at one for 5grand.really only worth about3.still we live and learn mate. happy with what i got now though.i think its a bit to good to uprate[but watch this space,ive got the morals of a rattlesnake]

hi lads,just a quick hello for now,very new to this puter thing,not so with old fords.had a few in my time ie:v6 classic,1300e,1600gt escort van,ford excecutivemk3 3000.[ex co op funeral car].just got myself a 1600e,vynle roof,solar gold,98%original,drove up to scotland [fife] to get it,seller said wheres your trailor,told him if i cant drive home i dont want it.so 438 miles later it was on my drive.18hour day up and back,thanks to maggot my mate for helping keep me awake.done few jobs on it like give it some brakes,new clutch,waterpump,convert to altenater ,elec fan,etc.will post some pics when i learn how,cheers for now tony
