Hi All, I'm organising another Classic and Performance meet at Western Newcastle on Sunday 27th July 10am - 3pm. Same idea as on the last 2 occasions with free bacon sarnies and a win the price of a service on offer. Last time we had the whole garage full of cars with many old skool Fords so it would be great to see you all again, more info can be found on 'Western Ford' Retards Club site or inbox me for more info. The garage location is the old Western Saab site in Benton, Newcastle, NE129SW, now a Ford service center and SEAT Main dealer. Cheers, Barry.

After a successful first meet last October I have arranged another day for a Classic and Performance Ford Meet at Western Newcastle, Whitley Road (A191) Benton, Newcastle, NE129SW. (It's Part of Western Saab and SEAT also). Same idea as last year with the whole forecourt and showroom cleared, Fords of all ages are welcome to descend on the garage from 11am - 4pm. Free Bacon Sarnies and free Ice Creams will be on offer! Hope to see lots of Old Skool Fords on the day, cheers, Barry.

Thanks to everyone who came to the Western Ford Meet back in October, sorry its taken so long to sort the photos out. My name is Barry, I'm 33 and live in South Gosforth, Newcastle. I'm the Proud owner of a Rosso Red '87 D Plate Capri 2.8 Special which I have had for the last 7 years. I have worked in the motor trade all my career selling Volvo's and Saab's but always had a second car in the garage and it has always sported the blue oval. This is My second Capri (pictured) and I just love it!!! I'm starting to hatch a plan at the garage I work at (Western Saab in Benton) to have some Classic and Performance Ford meets as we are now an approved Ford repairer. I posted a few days ago my first attempt at this for a meet on 9th Oct, I hope to see you there, the interest has been fantastic. This is my first time on the forum and I'm looking forward to finding out what goes on in the Old Skool Ford world. Cheers,Barry.
