  1. definitely different, looks good What have you used to paint it on? Looking at doing something eyecatching on a zetec lump
  2. Hello fellow old skool fordites, My names Jonny, have only ever owned fords not all classic but only 24 and on my 11th already. Had a couple mk1 festa's (both pop's but in their own right beautiful), i have a soft spot for mk4 escort vans, not old skool i know, but as a vehicle what a absolute star, the two i've owned have got me out of many rough situations. Various escorts each one tried to kill me! Now i've got a 1982 Capri 1.6 pinto beautiful shell and engine but thats about it (no floor - standard!), it's completely plastered in OSF stickers put on by the previous owner. My latest purchase is a beautiful (with imperfections) 1967 mk2 cortina deluxe, she is in 100% working order passed the last 2 MOT's with 0 advisories and the reason why i've joined this forum. I want to introduce something a bit spicy under the bonnet, currently looking at a 3.0 essex V6, but am going to need plenty of advice from you very helpful people. Will be browsing the site for ideas over the next few weeks but the project will be in full flying motion very soon. Any ideas would be appreciated, don't want to get too complicated though as it's going to be my first 'proper' project. All the best
