Hi guys ,Just to introduce my self,Ive got a mk1 escort est which ive been restoring for the last 6 weeks,hopefully on the road by weekend.Its been a hard slog,new floor pans ,gussets, front cross member with cut out,strenthend bulkhead ,anti tramp bars,cd 6 leaf springs,rally front panel.usuall stuff,lots of mods to come ,have a 1640 with twin 40s ready to drop in all cammed up etc.Just got back into the mk1s after 25 yrs .long history of rally toys from rs to mex's,also i used to play with the angle boxes .My favorite was fitting ford lumps (pintos and essex v6s)into different vehicles,caviliers ,chevets,sunbeams etc.
