  1. Oke doke, when I get a spare min I'll update this thread with the renovation so far! As I said on fb: I've got some work to do to get her ready for driving any real distance: original front seats are going back in, but more importantly the fuel pump is leaking oil and not giving enough pressure and allowing the fuel to drain back away from the carb when the engine stops. Hoping to install an electric pump Thurs though. Just been reminded about Bury Retro Ford's- 'Cars on the green' next Sunday though too so better get my finger out! Looking forward to finally getting her out to some events and meeting other local enthusiasts!
  2. Ah, yes, that'll be me! The car's changed a fair bit since the pics on here. Tbh I didn't think peeps on this site were very interested in her so I haven't updated the thread. Loads of pics etc on Retrorides though (same user name) But if you're Essex way then there's a chance I may bump into u @ 8Ball @ the end of the month?!
  3. Pics as requested! First shots taken by a friend when she arrived home....she's sat in the garage since as i've been at work and had no time to play! She needs some tlc but should be good to go when the show season starts again......
  4. I have just bought 1969 Taunus, German import. The fuel and temp gauges are off the top off the scale but the earth's are good so guessing it's the voltage regulators on the back? Does anyone know what sort of regulator's they might be or know of a retailer who may be able to supply me with a couple? Any help would be cracking! Cheers Roo
  5. Afternoon all. I signed up to your site recently once I had decided to sell my retro Japanese project in favour of a Ford, specifically a Mk2 Cortina. But my budget was limiting me to cars needing work beyond my capabilities and bank balance! During my search though I came across a '69 Taunus, LHD, imported from Belgium with the hard work completed and some modifications already made. The model is an RS 20M coupe, P7 shape, 2.3 Cologne V6, 4 speed manual. She needs some work for sure, but she's useable and presentable as is, so I'm hoping to get niggles sorted through the winter. I will post some pics at the weekend. Cheers
