N/A csoworth engines in a mk2.

Anybody done this? Just wondered how you did it, the cost and if it's worth it?

 

Don't want to go XE, wana keep a ford engine

 

200bhp is the aim

not done it my self but a friend is doin it 2 a mk2,not a hard engine to put it,same block as a pinto

im just thinking, you can get a head from a cossy that's been skimmed to death, and pinto 205 block, use the rods, just thinking about the cost of pistons and cams

 

would the head need any other work?

 

wana run it on carbs also.

the engine needs lots of work,very expensive if you want it done right

better of keeping the turbo and spending the money to get some good bhp
