bmosf Posted May 20, 2007 Report Posted May 20, 2007 Can anybody help me.i bought a set of 2.8 billies yesterday, they are on the car now and it still sits to high for my liking.i want to lower it 2 inches, but am unsure on what springs to get as i dont understand the weight figures.the engine is only a wee 1300 crossflow,so can anybody point me in the right direction as to what springs to buy??
Rick Posted May 20, 2007 Report Posted May 20, 2007 theyre a bit much really., coilovers is your best bet, unless you wana chop springs about
Baz. Posted May 20, 2007 Report Posted May 20, 2007 i would say convert to 2/14 coils and go for about 180lb springs, with the coils you can just wind them up or down to suit your ride height
bmosf Posted May 21, 2007 Author Report Posted May 21, 2007 Unfortunately i dont have the money for coilovers.would 180lb 2 inch lowering springs do?also does anybody know where i can get these from?
Gareth Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 Try Rally Design or Burton's m8 Ask one of the guys there, they should be able to help
