Needed funds to start a business and buy my first home, such is life. Hoping to buy it back again one day.

The older members on here will remember my thread on the restoration of this car, it took long enough (Can't find the link now the site has changed) I managed to track all of the new owners up until now where it appears to have gone quiet. It's still my baby and it's nice to keep an eye on it and make sure it's still out there! Last I saw of it was with Mark Burton (he may still have it) but no contact for a while. Any info appreciated. attached pictures of mine and beyond... Rick

It's been a good few years since I was involved in the osf world and I drop back in here now and again to tease myself. But christ, what happened to the prices! everything seems to be £5k more now I guess demand got higher.

I would rather someone be thrashing it around and enjoying it though... didn't build it to be polished to death lol Looks like its had some serious money spent on it too. Its great to look at it and still see some of my original mods in there though: Vauxhall corsa B bonnet hook, NIssan Micra K10 boot popper, unique rad panels cobbled together by yours truly ... hehe Think i might go to that Rally this year and see if it shows up!

I know i post this every 6 months but... Anyone know what happened to my orange beasty? It went off radar last year and not heard of it since. Be nice to see how its doing, hopefully not dry stored and out enjoying the snow!

Lol vista you know more about the car than i do Its vanished of radar again now after the 3rd owner sold it. Never got back in touch with me so its prob been passed off as a gen mexico again for daft money... sigh Id buy it back one day if the price was right but knowing its a mishmash of other cars id be reluctant to pay more than 8-9k for it I now own a transit connect ST lol which surprisingly gets waaay more attention than the escort did... madness

nah my new house doesnt have a garage. Im hoping to buy it back one day if i can keep track of it. I have a mk2 fez to play with from Huddersfield at the min.
