antz Posted October 7, 2006 Report Posted October 7, 2006 seen this on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FORD-ESCORT-ANTI- ... dZViewItem is it worth it? what am i going to gain? is it hard to fit? cheers
deluxe Posted October 7, 2006 Report Posted October 7, 2006 check prices and shipment for the same kit from rally design and peterlloyd first. Fairly easy and quick fit even for an unexperienced welder
Tom Posted October 7, 2006 Report Posted October 7, 2006 sort of not much with 1300 not too bad if you know how to weld i fitted some and took em off again get a panhard rod instead
johnny_h Posted October 7, 2006 Report Posted October 7, 2006 Anything that removes tramps is a good thing I think.
antz Posted October 7, 2006 Author Report Posted October 7, 2006 i wudnt mind it but i dunno if it would do much good on my car and i cant weld.
Jimsiss Posted October 7, 2006 Report Posted October 7, 2006 maybe you could get it fitted when you get the 1600 fitted
antz Posted October 7, 2006 Author Report Posted October 7, 2006 possibly! had a look on rally design and they are £50-odd so it would be worth it. might buy it and keep it for when i get an XE...then il need it
Jimsiss Posted October 7, 2006 Report Posted October 7, 2006 with the xe you will probably want to 4/5/6 link it
antz Posted October 7, 2006 Author Report Posted October 7, 2006 thats it! im not getting it. i cant afford it and i dont need it. there we go.minds made up. when i get the XE then ill panic when my axle falls out
Jimsiss Posted October 7, 2006 Report Posted October 7, 2006 If you knew someone with good fabricating skills you could make an anti tramp kit
