  2. im afraid im going to have to invoice you for time lost on the 4th of nov imparticularly the afternoon , ish between the hours of 11 and 4 , give or take you see i had to leave my shop to pick up , well i wont go into it , but it was important shop type stuff . It wasnt cakes ! and upon returning and disposing of the important shop type stuff i decided to browse your publication and lo and behold it was then 4 im not saying it isnt a fine publication , much to the contrary , infact many would be customers commented on its ability to draw my attention away from my work and even when i would wittily come back with " fook off im clearly reading/looking at pictures " they would still pester me so to reiterate , the paper is watching me
  3. £20 fook that we got copper hard line for £8 and its done 3 cars so far
  4. i had the same a couple of weeks ago me and james thought we would have a tipple in town one night but it was the day i sent off my license to the powers that be whats the chances of that ! ided the 1 day i send the sodding license off words were uttered to the fooker ( who im older than ) behind the bar , they went something along the lines of " you fookin what !! " but cmpod , i dont think your as young as you say you are
  5. i feel for you dude i really do i have to work with customers who are too dim to drive a car !
  6. basically because he isnt sucking up to everyone hes getting slated by a lot of people ! ( shame on yourselves ) so what if he is a bit cocky , arnt all racers arrogant ? i thought it was part and parcel of striving to be the greatest ! which as everyone knows is what competition comes down to people forget that rivals can be the greatest of friends out of competition but as soon as it comes down to the wire they will ship each other out of the country to get the edge over the one another sure it wasnt the best of introductions but he hasnt said anything derogatory to anyone as far as i can see , its all healthy COMPETITION i personally think the fella seems ok and id happily shake his hand
  7. ive started a reply but cant think what i was going to say

  11. me and some mates have had a few done it cost us £30 each frame m8 you need to specify if you want a gloss finish though ( my mate wasnt best pleased when he saw his standard in matt ) would be worth mentioning that you want it to be a hard wearing finish too ( i had one done in black and it was a thin coat but it was my old skool so i wasnt racing it or anything ) they would be pleased with you if you cleaned all the grease off it too as they will be blasting it beforehand

    SNORE!

all i did all day was repair punctures and sell inner tubes after i had phoned the bank and been directed through all the departments , i spoke to 4 phuckers in the end oh and read retro ford while listening to radio 2 but once 5 oclock rolled up and i plucked myself off my stoop on the counter to total up , the till is £100 down after much stressing i thought sod it , ill have to put a ton in the till from my wallet in the morning until i can talk to the shop owner and see where i went wrong as i doubt anyone has had their hand in there ( ive been sat next to it all day ) it would be nice to have the interweb at work but i know ill end up in more debt
  13. i was kinda given a marina van when i was 15 when i was about 17 i had a non running s2 rs turbo , dont care bash i like em in a cult chav kinda way first car i drove was my old mk2 4 door that cookie had and painted red as a side question , when was the first time you drove ? i was in the works van when i was 17! going around a carpark , 5 minites of explaination ( no one had ever told me how to use a clutch ) and i was doing well day after that we were on a beach in somerset after work and i was quickshifting the citroen work van the length of the seafront took me ages to get the feel of powersteering , but i soon had it leaning in the turns and the tools were flying
  14. whip em off mate , put them against the flatest surface a window ! ( patio windows are great for checking true ) unless your house is oldskool and has those crazy windows that were made by hand using sand found on a beach
  15. gibsons got it exactly , its how im sure a fair few people feel sure the handicap system works and works well but watching a car dissappear off infront of you and then hearing later in the day you won by 2 10ths isnt appealing just think of it like " dude i nearly had you but you just pulled that bit further at the top end , i was leaning over the wheel to put my nose in " or " ahh look , i seem to have had you by a second but im sure i was looking at your bumper " like i said the system is working but we could do with ensuring we are lined up against a similar car/driver to keep it interesting i tryed that at the fast show , me and andy270 were sat together and it wouldave been a good race , but i blame the pod staff for putting me on my lonesome and the second run i was against a soddin vectra i didnt even see that car in the fire up lane
