anti roll bar mk2

hi guys. quick one. does anyone know the size of a standard mk2 escort auto anti roll bar. bought some of swank bay and the sleeve won't go past the threaded end!!!!! pain in the arse as i wanna get the car back on the floor. i make it 22mm which is what it said in the auction but the internal measurment is 16mm on the sleeve

Dumb question but have you got the old sleeve off the end of rollbar-they usually rust on??

Lol no worries mate. Just measured mine and the roll bar is 20mm-the threaded end is 16mm. You may well know there's a few different sized rollbars 20,22,24 etc. but the ends should be the same size??

went up my lock up last night and loand behold you were right. proper on there they were but off now and all fitted on the car. cheers for that. never done a front end before so i've learnt something now
