Need a 2 inch exhaust system for the estate thats up to MOT spec, were can I get one ASAP???????

Noodles m8 , the only thing you can do is buy a Ashley or similar and fit a Capri rear box on it . its the only one that will " fit " in the gap between the rear spring and tank

 

When i say " fit " you have to cut and shut the pipework somewhat ...trust me , i"m at that point myself !

 

Also , the system will need extending because of the difference in length to a saloon...its a right pain in the ar*e

custom built stainless steel is the way to go!! when i eventually get mine done!!

Just get an ordinary setup, but bring it out the side. No need to go out over the back axle

The one I have has 2 boxes and a bung its the bung thats causing the prob but if I take it out its too loud And as sumo said I have to have it cross over and come out the passingers side in the tiny gap between the leaf spring and the fuel tank, I did have it like that once but the pipe wasnt big enough for the spec now

I made an exhaust for my escort & it has a straight bit of 2 1\2 steel tube run under the axle straight from the manifold & a kink up to a volvo 960 turbo rear box bolted through the floor with a vauxhall astra strap. Single box & no restrictions & passed an mot fine (just an idea)

Yer see mine has to cross over past teh gearbox or prop shaft cos of the pinto being opposite sides to the xflow, arrrrr nightmare!

Mine has a pinto & i had a cross over pipe but done away with it & it now comes out the drivers side,the car had a x-flow in when i got it. Just was alot easier to run it straight down the drivers side. Ill try & get some pics over to you if you want tomo??

The petrol tank is at the rear under the floor off to one side, the drivers side, so theres no room for an exhaust on that side
