engine choice what do u think

right going to change my prefect back to rwd so collecting parts.

 

right i have a 2.9efi granny engine and all the bits, i also have a v8i comeing with all the bits.

 

if i went for the 2.9i in the prefect is thay a lot of diff in power from a v8 as im unsure what to put ware as was thinking of building anouther v8i capri.

 

im right in thinking that a 4-speed 2.8i box will bolt on back of 2.9i,

 

can you put carbs on a 2.9i engine as dont want to run injection in the preferct if so can i buy these parts of the shelf

yeah you can run the 2.9i off carbs i think, tbh the power is pretty good i think they kick out about 200-220, they are heavy though, rover v8 would be nice and light!!
