Well there was nowt on the tv yesterday, so:

Amazing how snug a sub zero street it if you have a worklamp and a pint of hot coffee :D

Can you tell what's missing? Just boshing the rebuild kit on it at the mo:

Of course I had the brainwave to fit the manifold/downpipe after taking the carb off. So now I can't start it to tell how loud it'll be. As there's not much more planned for the exhaust. I might get round to fitting a Jetex silencer and 45 degree bend.

Not had much time lately on this, been spending too much time doing uni work (hope the capper forgives me) anyhoo some cool bits arrived the other day:

So I can now get the new pinto running. Snapped the old one - was too brittle

Woot some fun stuff, 2" lowering blocks, will get the front slammed to suit, should make speedbumps interesting :ykt:

Started getting the old boat anchor out as it was holding oil as well as the exxon valdeez, but obviously nothing is straight forward with OSF's and I forgot to unbolt the last bolt holding the torque converter plate to the engine, then proceeded to spend hours trying to get the engine out with it still bolted in at the bottom

= Good.

Leaving the gearbox in the car = bad. Should have followed a mate' advice and taken it out with the box, d'oh. Fitting the engine back in is gonna be a pain in the goddamn ass, seeing how i'm working on my own and don't have a helper monkey to push the box up. Ho hum, this is gonna be fun.

So yeah jus a lil update.

glad to see its still beige, looks so hardcore in that night shot, if you dont mind me saying a slightly beat up poverty spec capper allways looks miles better than a concorse 2.8i in my book 8)

top work keep at it
