i once saw a 2.9i granny ghia bieng bangerd at arena essex, it was some bloke nicknames SKID and it was pissing over everyone, i asked him what was done to it after, it was a 2.9i bottom end, 2.8 mk2 heads on a jetted out weber dgas. i couldnt beleive it, it was going sideways round the bends, and all the way up the straights aswell leaving everyone for dust.

Either way, both good motors and both produce silly power if you get the ones with the dual hairdryers.
