AngliaSuper Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 Fiestaaaa.... Bought it about two weeks ago, removed grill sprayed it, smoothed front bumper, I have a set of xr2 steels which will get a set of 175/50 13's and lowered 50mm. Since the pictures I have moved the numberplate fitted the front ford badge and fitted a stereo. I also have some xr2 lights which i'm not sure about fitting yet. Ollie
Richierich Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 nice! Like the 'to go on' wheels!
AngliaSuper Posted September 20, 2007 Author Report Posted September 20, 2007 I have re-fitted the bumper and fitted my xr2 Lights. Any idea of where and what to use as indicators? Ollie
Daveyboy20 Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 looks great mate! If i were you id go the scrap yard and look for some small rectangular indicators off something - maybe an old polo/golf? Then cut the bottom corners of the grille and place them there just do it neatly and itll look great! just have to neatly hacksaw a relevant size off the bottom slat at the edges if you know what i mean. just see whats behind it as to a way of securing them might be easy or you may have to fettle - have a gander!
Mick The Cabbie Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 I'm sure XR2's used the same indicators as Mk2 Escorts..
james p Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 i use motor bike ones behind my grill on my estate
MattJ Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 i'd find an XR2 bumper, makes it easier and a cleaner look than 3rd party stuff.
russ105e Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 Looks great Ollie.Leave the indicators off and use hand signals
davreeve Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 Probably best to get an xr2 bumper as already mentioned.Nice car,it will look good lowered with those wheels.
project_pearl Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 Ive seen the mini type indicator lights tucked up by the bumper, ive even brought some for mine in case i do the same, hope that helps. charlie
