  1. A few of the Duchy lot will be there but we're not having a stand this year. I was hoping to see Steve and Simon with their names on this list. See you guys there.
  2. Heya guys and girls, I was last on here properly a few years ago. I don't have an OSF at the moment but I do get to drive my mates lovely 2.0S Capri about a bit during show season. I have owned Mk1 Escorts, Fiestas and had a couple of Capri's......although I am quite partial to some Ford plastic too. I'm hoping either to get a Sierra Cossie or another Capri next year.....can't make my mind up yet. But I've started my mid life crisis early and recently got a Ford Badge tattooed to my back....well why not?!?! I saw my old Mk1 Fiesta parked up on the OSF stand at CF this year, which was nice!! Sabrina
  3. Great to catch up with you all again. Thanks to Steve and Simon for letting me have a play in their Escorts, that proper made my weekend. Great show, see you next year!!
  4. I was hit by an uninsured driver years ago, he had no MOT or Tax either and was known to local police force when they came out to the accident. He took half of the front end off my Sierra at the time. Took 2 and a half years to sort it through the MIB and get the car rebuilt. I also lost my NCD until the Solicitor wrote to my insurance company. The Police report went in my favour as I had just pulled up to a junction as this muppet turned in too early. Think it's much quicker now. Have been hit by 2 uninsured drivers now and if it happens again I dunno what I'm gonna do to them
  5. I joined, but only coz the other half has an estate but don't use FB properly
  6. I can't help you on the Fiat 500, but I did used to have a Mk2 Ka Diesel which after 30k I was getting 60mpg out of it. I would have quite happily kept it but my mileage is proper high due to the nature of my job and my local dealer said I was better trading it in due to the finance. I would even go back to a MK2 Ka, but it has to be a used one. The mpg figures in my opinion are only near the book figure after about 20k, so wouldn't consider another new one for this reason. I have heard that the petrols only get about 40mpg if you're lucky, but as I've never owned a proper 500 I have absolutely no idea on the figures
  7. Nice photos, good to see '24 steaming past in the background too Might try and make it next year.
  8. Just gotta get Tony to finish the Capri and we'll be there
  9. Me and Tony went to see it the night it was released.....enjoyed it, but not too sure the Prime Minister would have had inertia rear seat belts in his car in 68/9 Over all a pretty good watch
  10. I had an 09 plate 1.4TDCi Titanium for 4 months, did 10k in it myself but the car had 29k when I traded it back in. I had nothing but trouble with it, EGR valve the main problem, oil leaks under the bonnet, terrible smoking, rattles and basically poor build quality. I kept taking it to the Dealer who weren't in the least bit interested. They had it for a whole day, told me there's nothing wrong with it but didn't even open the bonnet. They told there's no common faults with the car but if you look through the forums it would appear they're nothing but trouble. So steer well away from the 1.4TDCi. I've got a 1.9TDi MK5 Golf now and would really recommend one of them any day of the week
  11. My brother has a motorbike plate on the front of his Capri....got it from DMB Graphics at FF a couple years ago
  12. Nice to see you earlier Malc....gonna be a hot one this weekend. Roll on Sunday!!
  13. Nice family saloon Lee Gonna keep this one??

    New RS500

They're supposed to be building the next one with optional 4WD....that's the one I want, should be around in about 18months time I read somewhere
  15. There's a place just outside Perranporth called Cock but they had to change the spelling to Cox a few years ago, although if you go down the Newquay road to get there they forgot to change the signs And there's a street in St Agnes on a really steep hill called Stippy Stappy
