keeh Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 i beleive theres a couple in the latest which i havent had chance to buy yet, but i still think there should be more, even a front pager once in a blue moon would be nice, i am hoping the rwd people will agree, fwd is not all bad, plus mk1s look the shizz
smiffy Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 I think so,they're from the 70's which in my eyes makes it a classic and they aint made of plastic

Daggle Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 We all know its old skool, so it should be in the mag. Be nice to see some little fizzers
turner Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 Ive had three mk1s i loved em there definatly classics and should get more attention.
scrapyard-mutt Posted October 3, 2007 Report Posted October 3, 2007 Definitely more Fiestas should be in the mag... I've liked em ever since my old chap bought a signal green 1.1S in the first couple of months of production SDG (can't remember the numbers)R. Those Cadiz seats in the early cars have been my favourite Ford interior ever since. He moved on in 1980 to a yellow 1.3 Ghia NDD 950W (great colours, rather than the bland sea of Silver out there today) which I remember him testing out the 0-60 on down a country lane somewhere in the Cotswolds. Thing was he had a trestle table in the back at the time which meant me and my sister were lying in the back with the seats down and with the rear hatch open... as an adult I'm struggling to figure out why he would have done that? Another memory brings me to my main point here... I also have a recollection of being driven in one of the first XR3s, by a mate's dad who was a farmer down in the West Country. I think we must have been to a party because I was pissed (I hope my mate's dad wasn't!) and the drive round some very narrow lanes in this quick Escort with solid suspension and excellent handling scared the living cr*p out of me. Now I know MkIIIs are a no-no on OSF, but can't we like the carb'd XR3 just a little bit. I wouldn't mind a minter parked in the garage....
scrapyard-mutt Posted October 3, 2007 Report Posted October 3, 2007 does this site change XR 3 to XRwee automatically? That's pretty funny Posse!
MattJ Posted October 3, 2007 Report Posted October 3, 2007 Got to have more fezzers in. they're cheap, practical, old skool, a proper larf and when they are gone right they look great.
mk2_escort_chick Posted October 13, 2007 Report Posted October 13, 2007 You've gotta love a mk1 fezzy pop! I dont want to just see mint ones, I want to see ones that are used daily-that do have scabs etc. I want to see ones with crazy conversions, rwd ones...mk1 fezzy's are great
