iokarus Posted October 20, 2007 Report Posted October 20, 2007 I went to have a look at a '69 Cortina(mk2) today, its the first i have ever looked at with a view to buying and was pretty pleased. The guy selling it had some spare parts for it that i would be looking to sell on if i bought it and needed some expert advice on whether theyre worth any money and also roughly what they are. There is an engine and a close ratio box. He called the engine a 1300GT and said it was from an escort and suggested that the close ratio box would work with that engine. The car is a 1300 atm but i would be looking to put a different engine in. Any advice would be great.
