surfingturnip Posted October 27, 2007 Report Posted October 27, 2007 .........an absolutely mint 1500 pre crossflow mk1 cortina estate in an old car dealership.
antz Posted October 27, 2007 Report Posted October 27, 2007 mr_turnip we need mroe info you muppet! went out driving today and i know of a few old rotten cars outside dealerships so we went to investigate. first up was one that had 4 cours outside. hillman, jag, triumph and something else all rotten beyond anything but through the masked up glass we could see a few 1920s old fords all mint next one is a well known garage near malton with a mk1 cortina round the back. bit scabby but not bad but the garage is stil open. he knows how to charge for classic cars! last one was his old dealership which he left 4 years ago. out front is a mk5 cortina very scabby and could be yours today for £995 and a zepher 6 which was very rotten! also £995 a jag which has been there for 5 years. round back he has a couple of other cars like rover SD1 and the drift racers dream car. Nissan silvia 1.8 turbo been sat there since 1999. the dealer wont sell it cos it was his mothers but looking round the neighbour came out and invited us into the garage for a look cos he is a nice fellow. a few old trucks all mint, big white yank tank. a merc of some kind which is on the ramps with no brakes exactly as they left it 4 years ago. its like they walked out and never came back! at the front is the mint mk1 cortina estate! un restored and completely original even running cross plies! King immaculate!!!!...it might be for sale but knowing the dealer owner he wants big bucks for it! it makes your stomach turn that he has all these cars and would rather let them rot away than drop his price cos he is a rich fairy and its only his hobby
