I picked up a escort mk2 steering wheel boss to day but I am not sure what it is. eg I have no escort to try it on (as i am into capris), the number it has is 79AB 3K686 AAFA . I do have the rs boss for a mk1/capri and this has a larger hole for the steering column to fit in to and is longer eg 160min length.

If it's too big for your Capri, then it's for a Mk2 Escy/ 3/4/5 Cortina.

 

At a rough guess it's for a mountney (length wise), how many screw holes are there,

and roughly how far apart are they
