is there much differance

hey all my mechanic whants to change the injection system in my 2.8i capri to a carbereter, what i want to know is there much differeance between them, e.g will i lose power, gain power etc.....

depends on what carb you will certainly lose mpg

My mates just had his converted (standard 2.8 carbs) ex 2.8i on the rolling road and it´s pushing out 135BHP......150 is what it had before according to the paperwork!

 

As it´s not a daily driver i can´t see the mpg thing being a problem but it will be less.....depends really how much you´re driving it i suppose.
