and also how easy is it too keep the rear bench when you have a half cage fitted? because i wanna build a sort of Track-hybrid, something that looks mean and goes well but without losing the around town driveability

I have a safety devices 6 point cage and it will fit around all the interior trim including the rear seat......you could get a bolt on rear diagonal..

 

...Capri cages don't come up that often..
