Pye Man Posted December 9, 2007 Report Posted December 9, 2007 Dont mean to be a sour grape, but I bought my old man a Scimita SE5 and it wasnt the best quality to build Lot of jiggery pokery required and that. Any who hope it goes well Sam Still be easier than a real angle box
Mr Sam Posted December 18, 2007 Author Report Posted December 18, 2007 well to be honest i wasnt to impressed with the quality of the shell but it will buff out and will look fine in some paint but then the chassi the rear axel sits to high in it so the chassi actually scrapes the track in some sections, i fear some ayrton senna crashes in the future i nicked some wheels off a mighty metro as they look like 4 spokes as aposed to the minilites that are supplied i do love an anglia arse theres a metro minus the rims ive got another 2 of these in the post need to get some paint next time im near some shops and a few screws and some more solder wire
CéDriC Posted January 5, 2008 Report Posted January 5, 2008 Nice project but quite disapointed with quality too.
