Alan G Posted December 10, 2007 Report Posted December 10, 2007 Was toying with the idea os making my own roll cage.. A mate of mine has just got a proper pipe bender to do the same! Was just wondering what steel to use, I won't be rallying or anything but still want to have an effective cage for road use!

4parajon Posted December 11, 2007 Report Posted December 11, 2007 You want to use 38.1mm o/d x 3.25mm w/t grade CFS mild steel tube, its expensive and you should be able to get it through a local stockholder. use 3mm thick mild steel sheet for the feet as well good luck
