markwalden Posted January 5, 2008 Report Posted January 5, 2008 I have a 1974 mk1 mexico which i am thinking of selling but not sure on what its worth. It is stripped and the shell has been sandblasted and zinc primed, and just awaiting the new 4 floor panels,2 sills, rear panels, wing strips and wings suitable for bubble arching welding on as i have bought these new items.I sold the original mex wings as i was going to bubble arch it It is currently on a spit which will be included, and has engine, box and rear axle minus diff with it,along with a 3 litre capri atlas axle.It has all the original bonnet, boot and doors in paint and every part removed including glass.the only parts that are missing is the front and rear seats as they were incorrect rs2000 mk2 items,so were sold.I have the v5 in my name and the original colour was stardust silver, which is evident under the yellow respray!I havent a clue on what this would be worth,as it could be looked upon in different ways...its never going to be a concourse car but it is a perfect start for someone who want a full solid rebuild, with a lot of hard work completed.,Whats it worth The car is in the restorations and projects section under user darklawmen which wont let me log in regards mark
