What's the norm for protecting under arches and inner wing areas whilst keeping them body colour? I got a bit sick of the thick black wax oyl look and have stripped it all off to bare metal. So what now? Etch prime or oxide? Stone chip with body paint colour over it? Tips tricks of the trade plz. :)

I used to use white stonechip (bitumin underseal will bleed through) so needs to be spot on clean.

Then brush paint activated 2 pack paint. Easy, looks like it's sprayed when dried ... Need a good mask though !! even brushing causes naughty fumes ... won't work with celly though

Big advantage of painted underside is it's easier to keep clean and seals the underseal. lasts longer, even if later on you decide to underseal over top....

White stonechip? I used hammerite underbody seal and I've got rid of most of it, there's bits and peices of it still in uneven spots that I can't get to like in the seam sealer  I just sprayed my hammerite tin with etch primer to see if any underseal bleeds through  Where do I get electric blue tupac paint from? I have some electric blue in a spray can from halfords. Will this do the trick? Electric blue stonechip would be great, is that possible?

so the halfords can is no good? what the fook is two pack?

It's a type of paint - 2 pack = 1 part paint, 1 part hardener

It's what modern bodyshops used before the lovely water based paint arrived...

Your smaller paint suppliers should still be able to mix some paint up for you to code or a sample panel.

Personnaly I wouldn't use aerosols - I think you'll find it more hassle then it's worth..
