wakesey11 Posted January 23, 2008 Report Posted January 23, 2008 i am soon 2 be fitting my hotcrossey with 45s into my mk2 esc but because of the 45s i have removed the brake servo an mastercylinder,therefor now needing a pedal box??,i am still pretty mutch a ammature at this mechanic stuff but willing 2 av a good go at it!. does it matter if the engine is in or out?? an which would be the best choice of pedal box?? oh an the clutch isnt hydraulic !!! any info would be a big help cheers.
andygfc Posted January 23, 2008 Report Posted January 23, 2008 You don't need a new pedal box, just run it without servo. Pedal needs a bit more pushing, but you get a much better 'feel' for the brakes. Not sure if you can use the master cylinder that's attached to the servo, if not rally design have many, but I'm sure someone will soon let you know

Or Old Ford Auto Services (01344 422731) can supply you with a fitting kit and you just order the pedal box. And if you back order Retro Ford June, 2006 it contains a good fitting guide... Ooops should say this is for a bias pedal box...
