PAUL MANN Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 i would say you would have to uprate the halfshafts, speek to retro motor sport maybe he could help with your quest for power & grip
escortmad79 Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 What year is it with compression struts?
ZETEC1 Posted February 6, 2008 Author Report Posted February 6, 2008 k reg doing away with anti roll bar replaceing with compression strut kit
4parajon Posted February 7, 2008 Report Posted February 7, 2008 There's no problem in using leaf springs with this set up. A lot still do (including myself) but it will put a limit on how much power you can get down, but I would think the fact that your using a van tells me this wont be a balls out race car Not sure about the axle, think if you have one and its free then go for it and if it breaks you know where you stand. Can't offer you any advice on the struts as Ive no experience of them myself but try pm'ing Gary (Retromotorsport) as he will know
