yea got home ok massive puddle of oil on the floor of jet wash took rocker cover off tonight cleaned up will try to get one tomorrow & pop when finished work

yea been out in mine with some friends who have a couple of kit cars,after 10 mins of spirited driving blue smoke billowing from under bonnet & in the car pulled over to find rocker cover gushing out oil & i mean gushing it looked like i had just poured oil all over the rear of the engine,so slow drive to petrol station jet washed off then slow drive home & straight in the garage so it didnt leak all over drive

as the name says really i was at a classic car show yesterday & i got speeking to a guy with a capri he took some photos of my car but i cannot remember the capri forum he said it may be on,im sure he said something like capri.net or something ive tried that to no avail,do you know any more?

the tunnel straightening rib has been moved back,so no where near box now,can you see the gold coloured spacer on top of the box it seems to be too thick if that makes sense ,all is ok when stick not fitted,on ebay the straight sticks do not have this thick washer,this maybe my cause

i have fitted a type 9 5spd to my mk1 ive got gs blocks turned tunnel hole round now when i do cross member up the gear stick is jammed up against the tunnel,i was wondering weather i have the right quick shift fitted it came with the box,its a slightly angled stick so catches the handbrake,im presuming i need a straight stick,but the spacer on the quick shift is really thick,i looked on ebay & the straight sticks have no spacer,can any one help please as im loosing my patience,
