doesn't matter weather hot or cold but if you bleed the rads when boiler is on you can suck air in aswell as let air out  and so just recirculate air around the system

combi boiler works on principle of heatin hot water as it passes thru a chlorifier.dont turn on taps so far and water will become hotter hope this helps u eckie. in response to other problem pressure should be around 1.5 bar,and 1 radiator should have no trv.this allows free flow of water around complete system.im a spark not a plumber but come across probs from time to time.hope this helps 8)
