Since having the Prefect ive lowered the rear 2" using blocks.

The plan is to change to Spax or Gaz.

As the original Shocks were installed pre-lowering, how do I now measure the shock travel?????

This hasnt been answered yet on the 100/105E Tech Page ive got some time off so im a bit anxious to crack on.

Also im using Mk2 Escort lower shock mounts, does anyone know what shocks will be suitable, Escort etc?

Thanks guys.

put the axle at full compression ..ie its hitting the chassis .. measure from the top mount down to the lower mount ... thats what they need to work out the closed length, if its say 10 inches the internal/external bumpstops will come into play at around 8.5" 9 " so the axle never hits the chassis .. they also however need to know the ride height distance .. so measure that as well. They need this as if you say its such and such then the damper need to be long enough to allow for droop from that point.. normally around 5" is good .. for tarmac . they also need to know what the mounts are .. ie pins or eyes .. Then will ask you what your doing with the car .. or they should do
