Just wondered if anyone knows of any really good deals on at the moment. Just need a basic system so that the kids can get on the internet and play some basic games. Not bothered about a printer, just tower, monitor, etc.

asda i work in has a pretty good spec'd one for about £250 comes with a few bits and bobs.

 

Only that cheap as its not a BRAND name....Buy a dell and its £600!

Comet always have good deals on in store and you can get discount like car sales (well im not sure does it come with an all in 1 printer for that price the 1 in pc world did)

MAC not for at home, alright for industry but too expensive and the programmes are not readily available. try DELL online, they are really good prices at the moment and you spec it as cheaply or costly as you want

if your looking for something new this is the place i got my last two machines from and they build to your spec and they were cheaper than buying the parts and building it myself

i have always used 'eclipse computers' in coventry for th last 10 years they cheap and good quality
