frame? it was on a dolly, and backwards cus it was an auto

I have to agree - which Nutjob put the back wheels on the dolly and not the front!!!!!!!!!!

 

If i was a copper I would have stopped you and punched you in the gut for that!!! :mrgreen:

its an AUTO!!

you cant put the front wheels on a dolly and let the rear wheels 'drag' with the auto box.

As long as you tie or lock the steering it's fine towing that way, i used to do that with my RAC spec lift all the time.

 

Even flat towing in neutral will damage an Auto box, but you could have removed the propshaft.

ive dollyed no end of auto's for alot of mile's had no problum's at all with it in netrual and the front wheel's on the dolly

 

if you all want to be technall about it you are surpose to remove the prop weather it is auto or manural :wink: so you dont damage the box

 

but same again never ever has a problum yet touch wood :lol::lol: i dollyed the v8 cappa to shakey wich is 110mile from here and my gear box is fine

 

also you can tow start a auto if you read the book's you must be doing 30mph befor selction gear hav'nt tryed it my self :lol::lol:

no it dont dwaine any-way i dont care what i f**kup just has long i get home :roll::lol::lol:

 

ive towed no end of auto's and towed with no end of auto's has tow car's with no problum's old wive's tale i think when they say the box will go it's very rare it does hav'nt happed to me yet :thumbsup:

 

here that old camper is auto and the box still work's :wink::lol:
