Dalek Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 Crap Falls to bits Rots your manifold Costs too much for what it is... Just get it camcoated, do it once rather than having to rewrap it later on when it all falls off.
Danmex Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 Yeah crap, I had it on my Nova track day car, and it looks good for about a week but then ends up minging and traps moisture

SLYMAN Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 Exhaust wrap is fine, simple and works. remember it is from a racing background, i.e was meant for race car manifolds and not for all weathers, If you keep car in garage nice and dry its great stuff, you need to buy the right version though, as there are many cheap copies!! and to be honest even if wet, the manifold will rust from the inside out before surface rust causes problems. hope that helps Mr
Admin Mk2Jo Posted November 16, 2006 Admin Report Posted November 16, 2006 And don't bother getting the more expensive black wrap as it only turns white eventually anyway with the heat
