Rick Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 done a repair for a guy today and cant blend the fookin laquer properly i can see it a mile off it will prob polish in better when its dry but im worried hel just think im shit. either that or il end up laquering the whole rear quarter to match truth be known he probably wont see it but im paranoid wana make a good job
over_head_cam Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 Once it's blocked back and had a polish, it will be fine (probably ) You could do the whole quarter though, it would save any bother
kirk10 Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 thin the laquer down with fade out thinners then cover a bigger area from the repair and the laquer edge will melt together then a bit of g3 when dry darker colours are harder tho mate and silvers you got to watch out for the halos buts its better with water based paint
over_head_cam Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 Halo's (or starbursts, or spangles) are a fooker
