d_kni004 Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 Hi Tom, Fine looking beast you've got there. I've found photobucket.com really useful for altering photos to see what different paint jobs would look like. Cheers, Dave.
radar tech Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 lovely cappa you got there. i would either keep it as it is or put standard sport stripes on it .
MightySprocket Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 Hi Tom, Fine looking beast you've got there. I've found photobucket.com really useful for altering photos to see what different paint jobs would look like. Cheers, Dave. I think u mean photoshop, photobucket.com is a hosting site Dont put stripes on it, looks perfect as it is
surfingturnip Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 lovely looking car and I personally would leave as is. But I was bored so here ya go.
hotrodholty Posted May 7, 2008 Author Report Posted May 7, 2008 sorry to disapoint you lads but i got these photo's off photobucket for you to use, as i cant get to the cappa to get any decent pics. although to be honest it is pretty much the same as the one in the pics
Conor Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 Here's mine. Missus made them up. She says £40 a pair. If you want any other text in the style mine is in, its £45 a pair as she has to do it by hand but other text in a standard font would be free to do and she would email you with a layout showing what it would look like before you committed. Most colours available. PLEASE NOTE it does't include the site address bit. [/img]
ASBO CAPRI Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 Lose the rubber strips down the sides. fill the holes left behind then fit an S stripe down the side. Job done Just like this one. My old baby.
hotrodholty Posted May 7, 2008 Author Report Posted May 7, 2008 Lose the rubber strips down the sides. fill the holes left behind then fit an S stripe down the side. Job done Just like this one. My old baby. thats what i suggested to her but she wants to keep the side strips to keep it original as possible, a vynle stripe can always be peeled off, plus the bodywork is already mint so dont really want to start filling and painting
Copey Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 love those stripes conor!! may be ordering some of those when i get the car sprayed, can they be done in other colours, ie black and maybe with capri by the back wheel not on the door?
Conor Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 Yeah...moving the logo isn't a problem - ( basically you just put it on the other side ) and she can do pretty much any colour you can get vinyl in. White Black Red Yellow Orange Ocre Light/Dark Green Light/Dark blue Burgundy Gold Silver Lilac Purple Pastel Pink Dayglo like pink (loud) Light/Dark/Graphite grey Brown
Copey Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 i dont mean on the door, i wanted the logo between the door and the rear arch
d_kni004 Posted May 8, 2008 Report Posted May 8, 2008 .......I def meant photobucket.com and not photoshop, check it out, its not just a hosting site anymore. I too think its just fine as it is. Dave
Conor Posted May 8, 2008 Report Posted May 8, 2008 i dont mean on the door, i wanted the logo between the door and the rear arch Yeah..if you take the one I have on the NS, put it on the OS of yours and move it back a bit is more what I was getting at - it's only a case of lengthening the stripes on the long side.
