Silverback Posted May 8, 2008 Report Posted May 8, 2008 My xflowed mk1 currently runs an Inertia type starter motor, which has literally stopped working today, leaving me stranded at work until a push turns up later. Now I've got a replacement sorted, but I'm not expecting it to be here until next week, which is obviously no good in the meantime. Thing is, I've also got a pre-engaged starter at home from a Mk2 running a 1.1 xflow, will this work if I replace it for now until the inertia turns up? Or is it a totally different beast requiring different flywheels and such?
Silverback Posted May 8, 2008 Author Report Posted May 8, 2008 No worries, have found the answer somewhere else..... looks like I'd best don my best hitching thumb for now....
