My xflowed mk1 currently runs an Inertia type starter motor, which has literally stopped working today, leaving me stranded at work until a push turns up later. Now I've got a replacement sorted, but I'm not expecting it to be here until next week, which is obviously no good in the meantime.

Thing is, I've also got a pre-engaged starter at home from a Mk2 running a 1.1 xflow, will this work if I replace it for now until the inertia turns up? Or is it a totally different beast requiring different flywheels and such?
