Durham Fiesta Posted May 15, 2008 Report Posted May 15, 2008 is there anyone thats near to durham that would be able to assemble my engine for me? the bottom end is all built up its just everything else that needs sorting out, and timing and stuff setting up. Everywhere thats local either charges a fortune or have a really bad reputation (its a 1600 x flow btw )
Gonzo Posted May 15, 2008 Report Posted May 15, 2008 Get a Haynes manual or summat [i'm sure there's gotta be an x-flow manual on the web somewhere] and get stuck in mate. Ain't anything really complicated about a crossflow, and it'll be a learning curve.
Durham Fiesta Posted May 15, 2008 Author Report Posted May 15, 2008 its the timing that concerns me most, never worked on a push rod until now
radar tech Posted May 15, 2008 Report Posted May 15, 2008 what cam are you gonna be running in it ? are you gonna use standard /vernier or offset dowels to time it in ?
