Mr Sam Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 right the anglebox has mk3 fiesta calipers finally got the right pads but how the fook does the fitting spring thing go in its 1.1 spec and i could do with either a clear picture of your caliper and pads on the car or a clear picture/scan of a haynes diagram thankyouplease
mr squidian Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 i never got a pic but the bent out bits all sit behind the lugs on the thingy the caliper sits into. and the the two ends sit in those holes. hope that makes sense. itsa bitch to do though sam!
Savvi Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 Fit the bottom peice of the spring in the hole with the "curly" bit around the brake pad carrier , then put the other end of the spring into the top hole and use a lever / screwdriver to fit the top "curly" bit to the top of the carrier.

spooner Posted May 17, 2008 Report Posted May 17, 2008 you better put the pads in the right way round first mate,the pad with the three prong spring go's on the piston side with the prong's inside the piston.
