Mr Sam Posted May 28, 2008 Report Posted May 28, 2008 leading on from those whats the song called threads something bugged me today i started reading a book last summer (trust me i never ever read books havent picked one up since this one) and started reading it......got a few chapters in and got fed up with the reading part of it even though it was really gripping its set in the 80's and is based on a true story......well is a true story a bunch of people (spiritualits/hippy types/nutters whatever you think of them) meet up todo dowsing and what not at some ruined abbey there lead to a wall which inside has a small bell then all hell seems to let loose and they manage to escape with thier lives i think later on they find a green stone/gem and the books title is something along those lines now has anyone have any clue what im on about what its called or what the abbey is called or where the abbey is ......i feel the need togo there for some reason
emu Posted May 28, 2008 Report Posted May 28, 2008 Was the abbey on a deserted island that can only be reached by rowing boat? and there was a dog? and treasure? Sounds like a the famous five mate. Try Googling 'Enid Blyton'
