fuel leak

i just dumped a load of stupidly expensive petrol all over the floor because its leaking from the inlet bit of the fuel pump, i cut the hose down a bit to make a nice clean end to check the pipe hadn't corroded much and put it on again but still leaked.

 

i had to leave it stranded at a mates while i go for a job interview so when i get back im gonna check to see if i can see any holes or such on the fuel pump itself, do they break much at that point? and if it is fooked will i have to get a whole new pump?

 

anybody think of anything else it could be/ to check?

my dad had a brand new pump on his and the fitting fell out whislt it was on the ramp at quick fit

hmm well from what i can see i think its gonna be a case of a new fuel pump suppose i best get looking.

 

do they still sell em new? my local motorfactors is shut atm but ill ring em tomorrow and see.
