Josh_gsy Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 1. is there a reason i shouldnt use studs instead of bolts in my inlet mainfold. 2. the rod that pushes the bit on the side of the gearbox that may operate a lever nside has fallen out during my engine transplant is this a bad thing?
Guest cortinamad-gonetoo Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 you can use either studs or bolts dont think it makes any difference what rod are you on about
Josh_gsy Posted June 5, 2008 Author Report Posted June 5, 2008 thats worrying! erm there is a lever that comes out the side gbox that i think moves the clutch release bearing. and my hydraulic stuff for the cluct leads to a cylinder infront of the lever. below that rolling along the floor i found a rod and a rubber grommit/seal looking thing!?
Durham Fiesta Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 its not good when yopu have spare bits as usually everything is needed
