what sort of money are the mk 1 and 2 estates going for at the moment and do they actually crop up that often. I've been watching ebay but would prefer prices from the 'real world' cheers in advance all

ive seen a bench seat coloum shift mk1 for 1300

i only paid £850 for my mk 1 cortinia saloon 4 door with bench seat and colum change with tax and mot from ebay. It need's some work though

 

But there is a mk2 estate on there at the mo with a pinto in it saw it a couple of days ago

I'm just on teh lookout atm as I fancy something in the way of a retro sleeper drift wagon to scare all the chavs

i no this is not what you are after but some times the best buys are randem and the is the daddy of OSF's and will be a drift car extravaganza with a manual box and it will look as hard as nails all in black (death proof style)

saw that and I'd love to buy it. 3.0l though so I dont think the insurence companies would like me much then again Iit'll cost me about the same insurence wise as a 1300 escort 4 door, so you never know (and it would have to be converted to manual as you suggested ) love your escy btw, saw it at cf when I was wandering about with Antz and watched it doing some great runs down the strip

our was about £2500 a few years ago but we paid £350 on ebay a few months ago

 

its a mk2 1600gt estate one of 200 built

yep, watching that as we speak And I shall do next time I get down to a show. Shall try and circulate a bit more I'll be the wierd lookin tall one with the beanie hat and long hair
