Painting wheels

I just got some alleycats off the bay.

 

I want to polish the lip. How do i do it? A cloth and some polish?

 

And when im painting the middle should i key the surface with some wet n dry or similar, then throw a quick layer of primer on and then bez it with some halfords tin can spray? And should i laquer the whole lot afterwards?

for a lasting finish get em powdercoated!!!

the normal car paint stuff tends to chip very easily, especially where your wheel nuts go.

either that or hammerite a steady hand and some wet n dry+laquer and bobs ur uncle. propper job
