Whats the difference between a mexico and a 1600gt mk1 escort? On my log book it says mexico but it's badged as a gt? just a little confused if it's just rebadged or did any leave the factory like that? thanks

if mexico had 3 thin coach lines then the badges on the side said mexico but if it had the board mexico stripe then the badges were 1600 gt

Ive had many an arguement over that but people wont believe me for some reason, even though some where badged 1600gt.

 

Surely it makes sense that a 1300gt with a 1600 in it is a 1600gt?
