Capri Springs Onto MK1 Escort Legs ???

Will capri front springs fit onto standard mk1 escort estate disc brake legs if so what poundage will standard 2.0 ones be and will it sit at the same height with them on?

im not 100% as to wether they will fit, but if they do i am pretty sure the front end will sit higher, the capri is heavier, a 2.0 pinto is heavier than a cross flow, they will be a higher rate, but to be honest i would'nt be arsed messing about with springs off something else. iv had a good couple of sets from rally design for about £20 a pair. any ride height, any rate.
